Stay at the luxe dog-friendly Cottage known as the “little House” in the grounds of this charming 15th century Cotswolds Inn.

The dog-friendly Feathered Nest Inn is situated in the hilltop village of Nether Westcote, between Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water, deep in the Cotswolds countryside.  Perfect for a dog-friendly getaway at any time of year, it has wonderful walks on the doorstep and is surrounded by fields. With an atmosphere of relaxed luxury, the Feathered Nest has a cosy bar with a fabulous wine list. There is a fine dining option as well as a relaxed snack bar menu which will suit all type of diners. 

Recently refurbished throughout, the canine-friendly Cottage sleeps 2 - 4 and features original flagstone flooring in lounge area with a sofa-bed and open fireplace, a super-king sized bed upstairs, a free standing oversized bath and shower room plus a well equipped modern kitchen. Best of all the Cottage has an enclosed garden for your dog to roam and the Inn itself has sprawling gardens and an outdoor terrace. 

Please note The Feathered Nest Inn is currently closed on Tuesday & Wednesdays but the cottage is still available to rent.

Dine with Your Dog

You can dine with your dog in kitchen in the Cottage or better still, dine in the bar area of the Feathered Nest. Dog owners can experience any of the menus available from bar snacks to a full culinary offering from Michelin starred head chef Matt Weadon who incorporates local and seasonal produce into deliciously innovative dishes with homemade touches. This year the Inn has received 3 AA rosettes.

The Cottages sleeps up to four guests and has everything you and your furry friend will need including a super-king sized bedroom, a flagstone floored lounge area with sofa bed and open fireplace, free standing bath, shower room and kitchen as well as its own garden. Canine friends are provided with a dog bed and treats.

The Cottage at The Feathered Nest is also known as 'Little House' and sits within the grounds of this 15th century inn. The Cottage has been refurbished throughout to a high standard and features the original flagstone flooring with an open fireplace in the lounge. The kitchen has everything you need with a Smeg toaster and kettle, fridge freezer, microwave and hob.

Nearby market towns Stow on the Wold and Bourton on the Water are great to visit with plenty of dog friendly shops and restaurants. For wonderful rural walks with your best furry friend in tow there’s a bridal path adjacent to The Feathered Nest which takes you through the fields down to the nearby village Bledington, which has a fabulous dog-friendly pub, the Kings Head Inn. Also visit. Broadway Tower for a steeper walk with stunning scenery and fabulous views across several counties as well as dog-friendly cafes. Batsford Arboretum is another fabulous dog-friendly attraction and the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens also welcomes dogs.
